Parallel universes, people lost in time, listener feedback and much more on tonight's episode of Supernatural Existence!

Intro

"Parallel Universes"

-Parallel Universes and the Time Slip Phenomenon.
-Michio Kaku Videos
-There are many ideas about the multiverse or the omniverse. Multiple universes that exist next to each other.
-Julian calls in to share some of his information about Parallel Universes.

"The Monster of Glamis"

-The story starts in Glamis Castle, Scotland. All sorts of ghost stories are associated with the place.
-The best known story is apparently the one involving the "Monster of Glamis."
-The mystery here is pretty simple- did this person exist? Was this so-called monster really hidden?
-The rumors about this Monster of Glamis are often referenced in a lot of fiction. Books have been written either directly involving the Monster of Glamis or being similar to these events.
-I think this is a good example on how stories and legends, while possibly true, can evolve and change over time.
-But here's the catch. No one knows if this story is true or not...

"Kaspar Hauser"

-A boy whose origins remain a mystery today, was found- incapable of communication.
-Kaspar was originally thought to be a Feral Child.
-Eventually, he was taught to communicate, and he revealed an unbelievable past.
-There are many ideas about why his origins were so strange- including the guess that he may have been a prince.
-There have been DNA tests as well. They didn't seem to match up with relatives of the true dead prince. But then, about a decade or so later, another DNA test occured that said the first one wasn't right, and that the true DNA test proved to be inconclusive.
-So, we're basically nowhere in knowing whether or not this prince legend is true.

"Time Slips"

-Two people driving down an open highway witness another person experience a time slip.
-A teacher in Holt, Norfolk actually time slipped into the future.
-These people went into time slips and returned safely. But, what about Isaac Martin, a farmer who walked into his field on April 25, 1885 and vanished in front of witnesses?
-Several girls driving on a highway time slip into another dimension and encounter strange humanoids.
-There are all sorts of mysteries when it comes to the disappearance of a person. Do they parallel the appearance of someone mysterious? Are they just the makings of rumours and legends? Or are they something that involve phenomena we don't even understand?

The mysterious and elusive Stick Man, a strange hum many have reported hearing, as well as the incredible idea about Walk-Ins.

Intro

"The Stick Man"

-This creature is known under several different names, including The Stick Man, the Stick Creature or the Black Stick Man. Stick men are said to appear completely black. They are also incredibly thin, as if they were real life stick figure drawings.
-Descriptions of the stick man or creature says that it has a between average height to unbelievably tall. They are also said to be two dimensional, without any depth. In some encounters, its been said that they’ve been sighted walking along roads at night, or at transitional times such as twilight or just before dawn.
-They are surprised when actually seen, and have followed unfortunate witnesses on occasion. Their pace remains leisurely as they approach.

"Have you heard 'The Hum'?"

-The Hum is described as a mysterious and elusive buzzing noise that apparently plagues hundreds of people worldwide. Some people find it near impossible to stand.
-An audio clip of the "Hum."
-A BBC article about the hum has one witness, her name is Katie Jacques, saying that the hum is painful.
-When reports like this come up, the obvious is checked- electrical appliances, potential medical reasons, and other possible causes. But with some cases, including Katie's case, the sound was not caused by any of these reasons.
-At least one suicide in the UK has been linked with the hum.

"Walk-Ins"

-A walk-in is thought to be a person whose original soul has departed his or her body and been replaced with a new soul. In Hindu belief, each person is comprised of several bodies, including the physical, astral, mental, refined, and so on.
-In modern times, "true" or sincere walk-ins might be a rare but possibly real medical or mental health phenomenon.
-The basic idea of a walk in is actually pretty simple - a soul replaces the original soul in a physical body.
-Could Walk-Ins be Dissociative Identity Disorder?

Shadow people, the extinction of the neanderthals, time travel as well as your call ins- it's a busy night on one of the first completely live episodes of Supernatural Existence.

Intro

"What are Shadow People?"

-One of my favorite topics of discussion is trying to understand the true nature of a phenomena apparently witnessed by many people. The appearance of shadow people.
-Sightings of what are called shadow people have many descriptions. The general common characteristics of the sightings are that the apparition seems to be made up of a complete darkness. Hence the name "Shadow Person."
-Sometimes encounters with the shadow people and a phenomena/experience called "Old Hag Syndrome" are confused for each other.
-About: Paranormal had an interview with an author, Jason Offut, who wrote a book about Shadow People, entitled "Darkness Walks: The Shadow People Among Us."

"How did the neanderthals meet their end?"

-The disappearance of the neanderthals, about 30,000 years ago, has always been a big mystery.
-Now, a leading fossil expert is saying that the cause of their disappearance may have been at least partially because of us, the modern humans. They may have been consumed by us which led to their ultimate extinction.
-This idea comes from markings found on a neanderthal jawbone.
-The cuts and markings are like those found in other animals, like deer, that were hunted in the Stone Age.
-Leader of the research team, Fernando Rozzi, said 'For years, people have tried to hide away from the evidence of cannibalism, but I think we have to accept it took place.'
-If more and more evidence is found that supports this idea, it may be able to prove several things. For example, the idea that modern humans and neanderthals interacted and whether the interaction was positive or negative (hostile).

"Rules for time travel"

-How often have you come across some sort of time travel conversation?
-One common trait among them is that often, most conversations end up containing a lot of speculation as to what is possible and what may or may not happen.
-Still, a bit of speculation here and there can be interesting and even fun as well. So here are a few "time travel rules" that I came across online.
